Our first leg of the circumnavigation directly from Falmouth to Madeira, skipping Galicia due to the fear of an unwanted interaction with Orca! We also were aware that time was getting on and August can turn nasty sometimes so making as much ground south as possible seemed sensible, even if it was the first time Celestine had ever spent a full night on the boat! Amazingly she did just fine. No seasickness and slept through every night. Full of beans the entire way!

It took us around 8 days in total with varied conditions but generally fine, arriving in Porto Santo first before continuing to Madeira a couple off weeks later.
